Building a Patio

Tharren, always the ambitious one, decided to put in a patio. No objections here! So here are a few quick photos to see the process...

Before the patio, it will be on the left side of the photo just off the stairs of our deck.

We took out bushes, a tree, lots of rocks, and some grass. It was a huge muddy, dirty mess and I started to doubt it would ever get done!

But lo and behold...it was a mere week later that that my ultra A-mazing huband pulled off yet another incredible project!

We LOVE this patio and have already spent many a wonderful summer nights watching the fire flies, eating dinner, roasting marshmallows and watching the kids play from this new favorite spot!

Father's Day

These three together just melt my heart! These boys love Tharren so much, it is so precious to see and such a wonderful blessing in all of our lives!

Random

We have had some of the most A-mazing weather this summer! We have loved being outside as much as possible!

This is Wyatt and his very best buddy Reed. I absolutely LOVE watching these two together and listening in on their "adult" conversations! They are so fun together!

A Love Affair

This is Tharren's other love in his life! And I have to say, it might be my other love too! After my food blog of course! These plants are beautiful, amazing and just down right perfect! We are already starting to see and eat the fruits of Tharren's labor and for Michigan, that is AMAZING! It is so fun to see Tharren get so excited about "his garden" and put so much time and love into it. I swear he probably talks to these plants like they are his children. Buit whatever it is, it is definitely working! We are so grateful for his time and dedication and are so excited to have a summer full of "garden fresh" meals!

A Little Summer Fun

The sun if FINALLY out and it is FINALLY warm here! We couldn't be more happy or more excited! We had such a fun day in our back yard yesterday as a family! I wish I could wrap these moments up and unwrap them over and over again!

Preschool Graduation

Wyatt graduated from preschool this week. He was so excited and so proud! And so were we! I can't believe how grown up he is getting! He is going to miss it so much. I am so grateful that his first school experience has been so positive and so wonderful! I can only hope he continues to have that love and enthusiasm of learning!

Gators

I found these towels at a yard sale and just couldn't resist! These boys love gators and love these towels! Besides there is nothing better than a clean boy right out of the tub!
