Funny Boys

Seriously though, have you ever seen anything funnier? They were doing this all over the window and I couldn't stop laughing, OK so I stopped laughing long enough to get a quick picture but that was all. I am just glad I captured it! Click on the picture to see it big, it just gets funnier!

Sweet Weston

I was taking pictures of my kids in the rain today and loved how these of Weston turned out. He has started saying "cheese" to the camera, which is the first picture and it just melts my heart each time! I love his carefree spirit, willingness to laugh and eagerness to show his love. His big brown eyes are hard to look away from and his cheeks are so easy to get lost in. I want him to stay little forever, but know it will be gone in a heartbeat. Oh, to hold onto this innocence forever! This must be how our Heavenly Father feels.

I bought Wyatt swimming goggles the other day and Weston got a hold of them, too funny!

These are the giant sunflowers we planted in our garden, they are about 10 feet high and so beautiful!

This cute dove couple sit on our back deck everynight and sing to us, so cool!

Blueberry Picking

My boys and I went blueberry picking last week.. It was our first time and we loved it. My boys couldn't get enough of them and we have made many blueberry muffins since. Nothing says summer like blueberry picking in Michigan!

When we got home last night this is what was in our backyard. Crazy, huh?! I have never seen a hot air balloon that close before. It appears to have landed on the street behind our house, but where it went after that is a mystery. I thought it was pretty cool though.

Macinaw Island

The beautiful, amazing, I never wanted to leave, Mackinaw Island! This is such an amazing place! There are no cars allowed so you can either see the island by horse drawn carriage, foot, or bike. It is truly like a step back in time. The houses are old and immaculate, full of flowers and amazing! The coast is breathtaking, it looks like the Caribbean with its crystal clear blue water. I can't wait to go back! This, as you can tell was the highlight of our trip up north for me. I was also surprised by the amazing beaches they have in the U.P. What a treat to live in Michigan for a few years and get to experience places like these! If only summer could last forever in Michigan.

This is a view of the Mackinaw bridge that connects Michigan's lower and upper peninsulas.
