Cowboys

We made Cowboy cookies today (basically a loaded chocolate chip cookie, so GOOD!) and I convinced my boys they had to wear cowboy hats inorder to eat them! Yes, even Tharren, what a good sport!

Weston has been putting on his own shoes lately and we never know what we are going to find him in...too funny! The close up of the shoes is the best!

My boys are true cowboys at heart! I LOVE it! I hope some day they really can be! Wyatt told me the other day that he hopes our next house can be a farm! We couldn't agree more! I am going to need a farm with 3 boys! Well 4, Tharren totally counts!

Frog Hunting

We went to Stepping Stones Park in Flint the other day. I have to say we weren't too terribly impressed, especially because of "Flint's finest" who were also there. But we traveled little off the beaten path and came upon this fantastic pond that was laden with frogs and beautiful picture spots! My boys were totally entertained and I LOVED photographing them being boys!

Sunflower

We planted sunflowers in the front of our house and I just love them! This picture was too lovely not to post somewhere!

Hair Cuts!

FINALLY! This has been a long time coming! I finally cut my boys hair! The last straw came when they were both dripping sweat and I realized it wasn't because they were playing hard, it was because of the mops on their heads!
I think they each lost about 3 lbs of hair!

Wyatt wanted me to take some pictures of him doing his "tricks" on the trampoline to show Grammie. He is such a dare devil and can do a full front flip. No broken bones or stitches from either of my crazies yet, I am holding my breath!

Berry Picking!

This is one of our favorite things about Michigan, the berries! We went to this great little place caller Spicer Orchards and picked blueberries and raspberries. My boys L.O.V.E. this! I think Weston ate his weight in berries that day! We have been enjoying making blueberrie muffins, waffles with raspberries and raspberry ice cream with all our fresh berries.

More Mackinaw

Thank you Nana and Papa for coming to see us, making memories with us and spoiling us with a trip to Mackinaw Island! We miss you already!

On the beautiful beaches of the Upper Peninsula. Falling asleep holding hands! Melt a mother's heart!
The butterfly house, one of Wyatt's favorites!

My boys on the beach, oh how they love throwing rocks!

Shooting the cannon, no not really!
I guess I am a little excited! But this is all of us and the bridge from the island.

Nana and Papa
Mini Golf on real greens! Totally cool!

Fishing the Great Lakes and Mackinaw Island

The incredible sunset from the balcony of the condo we stayed at.The boys loved the bike trailer and were so great on this trip!
I love this handsome man!
One of the few family shots we got, I am always behind the camera!
Some really steep stairs to a look out point, Weston climbed them all!

Tharren, Papa and Wyatt went fishing on the Great Lakes while we were on Mackinw Island. It was the highlight of the trip for Wyatt and I would suspect a few other boys! I love Wyatt's pirate face in this one!
There is nothing happier than a boy who catches a fish! Especially when the fish is as big as he is!
One of the many beautiful trails that we either walked or rode on on the Island.

Mackinaw Island

We just love that the beaches on the upper peninsula are like the ocean! Sand dunes and all!Watching his boys.
Finding feathers.

Touring the fort. I love that Weston sat covering his ears for like 2o minutes before they shot the guns off.
This picture cracks me up! I love that Tharren's head looks like it is falling off, Wyatt is a girl, and Weston is a dog.
Waiting for the ferry to take us to the island. It was so grey and dreary but luckily the sun did come out the next day!
